Miley Cyrus has 'new ideas' for 2011

Miley Cyrus has announced that she's got some big plans for 2011.


The 18-year-old posted a video on her MileyWorld website, telling fans that she has got a few 'new ideas' up her sleeve.


"I'm really looking forward to 2011," she said. "I've got some new ideas, I want to go on some cool trips, I want to travel, I want to make this the year that I go out and do what I'm here to do, and that's to help people and make people happy."


And she hinted that a tour could be on the cards by adding that she hopes to 'come see [her] fans'.

Radio Disney’s Jake Whetter told Popstar! about the time that Miley Cyrus visited the station and was in another room and talking in a microphone about how she thought Jake was cute, not knowing Jake could hear her. “First of all I’m honored Miley that you thought I was cute, but she didn’t know that the microphones in the room that she was in were on, and I was in the controll room writing away doing something, then she looks up and someone tells her, ‘Miley, he can hear you.’ I look up at the same time and go, ‘What’s going on?’ And Miley says, ‘Can you hear me!? Miley Cyrus Likes Willow Smith’s “Whip My Hair” Song Disney Dreaming

Miley Cyrus has recently been listening to Willow Smith's "Whip My Hair." According to online reports Miley can't get enough of the song and would listen to it on the set of her latest film "So Undercover" in New Orleans.

Disney Dreaming reports that Miley Cyrus could be found singing Willow Smith's hit song "Whip My Hair" on set, and would sometimes even break out into a dance while singing. Miley has most recently been filming in Louisiana with Kelly Osbourne after her scandalous bong video, in which Miley is seen getting high off of Salvia, created a huge buzz.

Selena Gomez Defends Miley Cyrus And Demi Lovato

Selena Gomez has spoken out in defence of fallen teen stars Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato, saying that "people make mistakes".

2010 has seen both Miley and Demi fall from grace as they lost their squeaky clean reputations. Demi ended up in rehab after punching a dancer, while Miley unveiled a sexy new image and had her world shattered when a video of her smoking salvia from a bong was leaked.
But Selena thinks that people shouldn't be hard on teen stars, because they're kids and still learning what they like and don't like.

"It's a very hard business and I feel like people don't really understand what we go through," Selena told US radio station KIIS 108. "We're kids. People make mistakes. People have to figure out what we like and don't like."

But Selena plans to stay out of trouble, thanks to the support of her family.

"I have a great family," Selena explains, "I have parents that treat me like a normal kid. I know that I have a responsibility (to her fans)."

Zac Efron And Miley Cyrus Flirting: Report

Just hours after news of his split with former girlfriend and High School Musical co-star Vanessa Hudgens, Zac Efron is at the center of rumors that something may be going on between him and Miley Cyrus.

It has been reported that they have been in contact via text and “innocently flirting a bit”, according to celebrity blogger Zack Taylor, who cited a source.
They were also both spotted attending the same football game recently.

The Charlie St Cloud star and his ex girlfriend of 4 years are apparently still on great terms, according to an inside source. “They have officially called it quits, but my source believes that there is a great chance they will get back together,” they told Hollywood Life. “They have hung out with each other as recently as two weeks ago and will continue to hang out, since they are best friends.”

“They realize that they both can trust each other, and there will be a bond between them forever,” they continued. “Career demands, distance and to enjoy being single are the main reasons for the break up. I’d be shocked if they don’t get back together someday.”

Star Spotting: Tokio Hotel's Bill Kaulitz Channels Miley Cyrus Onstage

Here we have Tokio Hotel frontman Bill Kaulitz, photographed onstage, live in Mexico yesterday. The band brought their typical rock mayhem to the Palacio de los Deportes, which sounds like as good a place as any to bring said mayhem.

Such are the fine lines in pop culture and fashion these days that when first glancing at this picture, I actually thought that Bill Kaulitz's outfit, what with its winged element, was a tribute to Miley Cyrus' "bird girl" character from her "Can't Be Tamed" video.

But in actuality, this is just how Bill Kaulitz gets down: all glam goth everything, all the time. The band heads to Tokyo after the completion of the Latin American leg of its current world tour. They're also preparing to release their best of album.

The band just released a new song, "Hurricanes and Suns," and hopefully we can look forward to some new Tokio Hotel material sometime next year. For now enjoy birdman Bill Kaulitz, above.

Kelly Osbourne to star with Miley Cyrus in new movie So Undercover

Kelly Osbourne is set to star opposite Miley Cyrus in the new action-comedy So Undercover.

Cyrus, who recently turned 18, will play a female private investigator hired by the FBI to go undercover at a college sorority in the new film and Osbourne, 26, will play her roommate in the sorority.

The film is being directed by Tom Vaughan and the script has been written by Allan Loeb and Steven Pearl, according to Variety.

So Undercover will be produced by Guy East and Nigel Sinclair as well as writers Loeb and Pearl and Cyrus' mum Tish Cyrus.

Rob Cowan and Jodie Zuckerman-Weiner will executive-produce the film.

Osbourne has previously had small roles in movies such as the Austin Powers' film Goldmember and Devour.

She has also been involved in TV shows such as The Osbournes, Project Catwalk, Dancing With the Stars and Fashion Police.

Miley Cyrus: Dance-off with her mother

Miley Cyrus celebrated her 18th birthday by having a dance-off with her mother.

The singer-and-actress decided to have an party following the American Music Awards (AMAs) where she and Tish Cyrus competed on the dancefloor. Speaking before the bash, Miley said: “I’m going out dancing later – we rented out a space so all my friends can come. Me and my mom actually have choreography for the night later – everyone loves it when we dance in unison.”

Miley Cyrus Nude Photo: “It Wasn’t Me”

Last week, a Canadian blogger posted a nude photo purportedly of teen star Miley Cyrus.  The blogger, Zack Taylor, claimed that Miley had her purse stolen at a party with her iPhone in it that contained the racy photo. 

The website Gossip Cop now reports the photo is a fake and that the star is considering legal action.  (The woman in the photo is missing Miley’s signature “Just breathe” tattoo beneath her left breast.)

If Miley does sue, the case would be similar to the claim filed by Anna Kournikova against Penthouse magazine back in 2002.  Penthouse published topless photos purportedly of the tennis star sun bathing topless on a Florida beach.  It turned out the photos were not of Kournikova but of Judith Soltesz-Benetton, an ex-model and daughter in law of Italian fashion designer Luciano Benetton.  Both Soltesz-Benetton and Kournikova filed suits against Penthouse for violation of their rights of publicity.  The judge in the Soltesz-Benetton case seemed sympathetic to the girls’ claims, and temporarily enjoined Penthouse from further distributing the issue containing the photos. Penthouse apologized for the mistake and ultimately settled both actions.

The prospect of substantial monetary damages may have caused the Canadian blogger to think twice about his post.   Zack Taylor is now prominently reporting he got it wrong. 

We’ll see if the Cyrus camp forgives the mistake.

Miley Cyrus’ Nude, Leaked Photos Are Fakes

Alright, so apparently some sexting pictures surfaced today of someone who was supposed to be Miley Cyrus flashing the goods. Naturally, this caused the entire internet to shit bricks and spend over 9,000 hours scrutinizing the pics to prove it was Miley, because 4Chan loves child porn (and by extension, Traci Lords and Brent Corrigan).

There’s just one slight problem with trying to post this on Miley …

First, the person pictured is a bit thinner than the Hannah Montana star. More importantly, the individual in the photo is missing a key piece of evidence – Cyrus’ tattoo that reads “Just Breathe” beneath her left breast.

Miley Cyrus Most Searched Celebrity On Yahoo!

Miley Cyrus was the most searched for celebrity on Yahoo, according to their report. Her busy year has been filled with rumors, the end of her show, her album and of course her family life as well as her own personal life. This has been a busy year in her life, no wonder so many wanted to know more about her.

I sort of hope she can take a break soon and just relax. She needs just to get away from this madness for a while, before she becomes the next Britney Spears. However, I am not surprised that she ranks number 1 in the most searched for a search engine.

Were you one of the people who searched for sites or info about Miley this year? I think most people did, it is kind of hard not to search for one of the most talked about stars. Do you think more people should leave her alone like Dolly Parton does or do you think that this is just part of the fame game?

Miley Cyrus Heading For Breakdown Town?

Miley Cyrus might be on the verge of a breakdown…is she following in the footsteps ofDemi Lovato?

The media has certainly scrutinized Miley recently, they're all waiting to see how she is going to deal with the pending divorce of her parents. Her friends are greatly concerned about her, and they fear she might be on the verge of a nervous breakdown.

“Everyone is reading into each of her every moves, like when she goes out with her mom and no one sees her dad. It’s pushing her buttons,” a friend tells Hollywoodlife.com “She’s trying to focus on her new movie and staying strong, but some of us are worried about her,” adds the source.

Miley is trying to keep herself busy with her career, and lead a normal life, but with cameras following her every move it’s difficult for her to deal with this in a healthy way.

It’s difficult for any teenager to deal with their parents getting divorced, and especially if your in the public eye every second of everyday. Hopefully Miley will get through this without the media constantly pushing her buttons, as we saw with Demi Lovato that can only lead to a meltdown.

Is Miley Cyrus about to follow in Demi Lovato’s footsteps?

Miley Cyrus may seem to be dealing with her parent’s divorce well, but apparently things are not as they seem.

The singer and actress is reportedly trying to be strong, but is struggling with keeping a good relationship with both parents, states Hollywood Life. It is alleged that Miley is having trouble when the public reads into seeing her out with one parent and not the other.

Now, those close to her are reportedly worried that she may become overworked and stressed out much like Demi Lovato was before she entered rehabilitation. But for now, it still appears that Miley is getting along with her parents and keeping this family matter as private as possible.

Miley Cyrus Top Yahoo Searches for 2010

Yahoo! just released its top 10 searches in the US for the year, and topping the list is the BP Gulf of Mexico oil spill, followed by the World Cup footballing tournament and teen pop idol Miley Cyrus. 

It was a celebrity-fueled list, with no less than six in the top 10 being for celebrities, including Lady Gaga and Megan Fox. The only tech product to make it on the list is Apple’s iPhone 4, which was released with much aplomb in June this year. 

In conjunction with the top 10 searches, Yahoo! also provided some insight into the themes that dominated the year in its Year in Review page. According to Yahoo!’s editorial lead Vera Chan, these include natural disasters, survivor stories, workplace exits, financial uprisings and others. 

To illustrate this, Yahoo! commissioned data visualizing experts JESS3 to design a poster that graphically lays out the top trends of the year (see above). 

Miley Cyrus gives the 'Peace' sign to the paparazzi

It looks as if Miley Cyrus is getting use to being followed by the paparazzi. Has Miley Cyrus become more comfortable with her fame now that she is an adult? 

Miley Cyrus was photographed by the paparazzi over the weekend and instead of ignoring them or giving them a rude hand gesture she decided to stick up two fingers instead of just one. 

Cyrus flashed the peace sign to the vulture like photographers as they caught her leaving a friends house Toluca Lake, California.

Miley was wearing her usual casual baggy clothes and cowboy boots and a couple of fashionable bracelets and a beautiful necklace. 

Cyrus appeared to be in great spirits and they may have to do with her recently celebrating her 18th birthday and becoming an official adult in the eyes of the law. 

Miley Cyrus treats mum to girls` pamper day

Miley Cyrus treated her mother Tish to a girls' day out for Thanksgiving.

The 18-year-old reportedly splashed out on a pamper day for herself and her mum - who is in the process of being divorced by husband Billy Ray after 18 years ofmarriage.

A source told People the pair were spotted at a spa in their home town of Toluca Lake, California.

'Miley and her mum enjoyed pedicures and seemed very happy to spend some alone time,' the insider said. 'They kept chatting and were both in a great mood. Miley treated her mum and was very sweet and also left a great tip.'

Miley Cyrus: Studio City Stylin'

Miley Cyrus walks and talks with her friends as they grab a bite to eat at their local Panera Bread in Studio City, Calif., on Sunday afternoon (November 28).

The 18-year-old actress has been out and about all over the city lately — walking to a friends house and taking mom Tish out for a little retail therapy.

According to NZCity, Miley is a favorite of up-and-coming singer Willow Smith. She shared, “On my iPod I have Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Billy Idol, B.O.B., Eminem, Tupac – he was my mom’s best friend.”

Dolly Parton Dishes On Miley Cyrus’ New Image

Miley Cyrus‘ friend and godmother Dolly Parton was on CNN‘s Larry King talking about today’s young stars, which of course included Miley. Dolly supports Miley, but says that she will also offer support to her if needed. She also touched on the topic of Taylor Swift. You can view the whole interview at the bottom of this post.

I will say that Dolly handled this well, even if she did sort skirt the question. But at least she offers Miley support if she ever needs it. However, you can tell that Dolly was nervous talking about such a close friend.

What do you think of Dolly’s thoughts on the whole Miley thing? Is she right that we should “just let her grow up”? I can see her point, Miley is trying to grow up in the spotlight and that has to be tough. However, do we really need another Britney Spears or Lindsay Lohan? What did you think of her kind words about Taylor Swift? I think she hit it right on the head about her. She has a special quality to her that will keep her career lasting.
