Miley Cyrus treats mum to girls` pamper day

Miley Cyrus treated her mother Tish to a girls' day out for Thanksgiving.

The 18-year-old reportedly splashed out on a pamper day for herself and her mum - who is in the process of being divorced by husband Billy Ray after 18 years ofmarriage.

A source told People the pair were spotted at a spa in their home town of Toluca Lake, California.

'Miley and her mum enjoyed pedicures and seemed very happy to spend some alone time,' the insider said. 'They kept chatting and were both in a great mood. Miley treated her mum and was very sweet and also left a great tip.'

Miley Cyrus: Studio City Stylin'

The 18-year-old actress has been out and about all over the city lately — walking to a friends house and taking mom Tish out for a little retail therapy.

According to NZCity, Miley is a favorite of up-and-coming singer Willow Smith. She shared, “On my iPod I have Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Billy Idol, B.O.B., Eminem, Tupac – he was my mom’s best friend.”

Dolly Parton Dishes On Miley Cyrus’ New Image

Miley Cyrus‘ friend and godmother Dolly Parton was on CNN‘s Larry King talking about today’s young stars, which of course included Miley. Dolly supports Miley, but says that she will also offer support to her if needed. She also touched on the topic of Taylor Swift. You can view the whole interview at the bottom of this post.

I will say that Dolly handled this well, even if she did sort skirt the question. But at least she offers Miley support if she ever needs it. However, you can tell that Dolly was nervous talking about such a close friend.

I can see her point, Miley is trying to grow up in the spotlight and that has to be tough. However, do we really need another Britney Spears or Lindsay Lohan? On Wednesday, it was speculated that teen singer Miley Cyrus might be taking it all off for Playboy magazine.

“The simple answer is she is the one that you and all the other readers would like to see,” Hef said coyly. “That person changes every month and year, it depends on who the hot celebrity of the month is.”

While the newly 18-year-old celebrated her birthday on Sunday by making out with Canadian actor Avan Jogia - she apparently spent her actual birthday on Tuesday night with ex-boyfriend Liam Hemsworth.

According to X17 Online, Miley, Liam and a group of friends dined out at Matsuda in the San Fernando Valley for her birthday - and despite the Hannah Montana star's previous antics - there was no denying the chemistry between her and her Aussie ex.

"Miley was relaxed and having fun and of course there was a connection between her and Liam," said a witness.

"They dated for so long and were so serious it's like they can't deny their special relationship with each other."

Despite their rendezvous, Miley and Liam apparently left separately - with the Australian hunk reportedly slipping out of the back door of the restaurant while Miley and her chums kept the paparazzi busy.

Willow Smith Is A Fan Of Miley Cyrus, Tupac And Rihanna

Willow Smith has revealed which artists she listens to on her iPod.

The 10-year-old, who made a splash with her debut song Whip My Hair recently, says she enjoys listening to pop, R&B and hip-hop in her spare time.

"On my iPod I have Miley Cyrus, Lady GaGa,Beyonce, Billy Idol, B.O.B., Eminem, Tupac - he was my mom's best friend," Willow shared.

"I think Rihanna's awesome, I'd love to be a baby Rihanna!"

Smith recently spoke about another one of her heroes, rapper Jay-Z - who later signed the youngster to Roc Nation. "It was really fun!," she said of meeting the rapper.

"He was really welcoming, and he was funny, supporting and I just felt welcomed. He just told me to have fun".

Should Miley Cyrus pose for Playboy?

There are unfounded rumors flying around the net that Miley Cyrus is going to pose for Playboy. These rumors are not based in any fact. They were started when Fox News asked Hugh Hefner if he would askMiley Cyrus to pose for his magazine. Hef didn't say yes but he didn't say no either. This led to many reports of how Cyrus was going to get naked for Playboy. It may happen, it probably won't, but it's fun to talk about.

The question is, should Miley Cyrus pose for Playboy? What would be the harm?

It is obvious that Cyrus wants to use her sexuality to advance her career. If she didn't she wouldn't be acting the way she has since she was 14 years old. If she wants to gain from her beauty and sexual desirability she should pose for the magazine. Madonna posed for Playboy back in 1985 and it didn't do anything to hurt her career, if anything it help it.

On the other hand, if Cyrus is looking to change her reputation then posing for Playboy is obviously not the right move. Frankly though, Cyrus couldn't hurt her reputation anymore than she has over the last few years. She is not seen as an innocent young woman and never really was so I don't see what the big deal is.

Making for quite the memorable evening, Miley Cyrus followed up her 2010 American Music Awards performance with a night of celebration at Trousdale in Los Angeles on Sunday (November 21).

Donning a black bra-like top and matching leather pants, the "Hannah Montana" star was greeted by a slew of Hollywood stars including Demi Moore and Rumer Willis while ringing in an early 18th birthday fete.

With her mother Tish also on hand, Miss Cyrus also welcomed the likes of John Mayer, Kelly Osbourne, Kyle Massey and Ke$ha, with an E! source telling, "John's presence was the buzz of the party, and he wished Miley a happy birthday."

Also partaking in a danceoff to Pink's "Raise Your Glass" with Ke$ha during the night, Miley turned heads while offering up a PDA moment as things wound down with rumored new flame Avan Jogia.

American Music Awards 2010: Miley Cyrus sings 'Forgiveness and Love' to mom, Tish, at AMAs

Whether or not her mom had an affair with Bret Michaels, Miley Cyrus appears to have forgiven her.

At the 2010 American Music Awards Sunday night, the 17-year-old pop star sang "Forgiveness and Love" from her latest album, "Can't Be Tamed," as her mother, Tish, sat in the audience.

Cyrus opted out of her traditional racy attire in favor of a long black lace dress that reflected the hippies-style sentiment of the track. The flickering candles lining the stage gave it the impression of a church.

"The only thing real when push comes to shove are the acts of forgiveness and love," Miley sang as Tish watched rather sheepishly from the audience and lightly clapped. 

According to TMZ.com, Cyrus was initially meant to perform Poison's "Every Rose Has Its Thorn," Bret Michaels' hit that she covered for "Can't Be Tamed."

A source close to the "Hannah Montana" star told the gossip website she dropped the song after reports emerged that her mother and father had split over Tish's alleged affair with Michaels.

The romance reportedly bloomed earlier this year after Miley recorded "Nothing to Lose" with Michaels in February in an infamously age inappropriate duet.

Bill Ray and Tish Cyrus filed for divorce on Oct. 27 after 17 years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences.

Before heading off to celebrate her 18th birthday a few days early Miley Cyrus attended the 2010 American Music Awards in California. Miley walked the red carpet at the event wearing a white dress with a long flowing train attached.

Inside the awards show Miley took the stage to perform the song “Forgiveness and Love.” During the performance Miley traded out her white outfit for a black lace number.

Ready for one of the biggest night's in the music world, Miley Cyrus made her arrival to the 2010 American Music Awards in Los Angeles, California on Sunday evening (November 21).

Turning up at the Nokia Theatre LA Live venue, the "Hannah Montana" hottie received quite the ovation as she worked her way down the red carpet alongside Kelly Osbourne before heading inside for the night's ceremony which airs live on ABC at 8/7c.

The 'Miley Cyrus Show' Returns to SNL

 Earlier this week, Celebuzz pleaded with the SNL overlords to bring back 'The Miley Cyrus Show,' and either by mere coincidence or by divine intervention, those prayers were answered this week.

Vanessa Bayer brought back her dead-on Miley impression and dropped a myriad of "pretty cool" references during the skit. Her interview this go-round was with a Katie Holmes-impersonating Anne Hathaway, who had Katie's side-mouthed and hair-adjusting routine down to perfection.

In SNL's premiere episode this year, rookie Bayer stood out thanks to her Miley impression. Celebuzz has reached out several times to talk with Bayer about the role, but so far the requests have been shot down. Call us back, SNL, because talking to her would be pretty cool.

Microsoft Bellevue shop gets line by luring Miley Cyrus fans

Microsoft today opened its first retail store in home territory through controversial means with an unveiling in the Bellevue Square Mall. Early reports had about 1,000 line up for the event, which saw CEO Steve Ballmer cut the ribbon, but the company once again used the strategy of holding a teen-focused concert to lure an audience into the store. The first 2,000 to enter the store received two free tickets to a  Miley Cyrus concert due Saturday, triggering queues the day before that otherwise wouldn't have existed.

Multiple line visitors interviewed by the Seattle Times admitted having lined up solely to get the tickets. In one case, nearly a whole family arrived in hopes of getting 10 tickets. Some resulted in sales or expected repeat business, but a video (below) from TechFlash from its story on the opening revealed that some of the queue included preteen and teen girls that rarely appear at computer store events.

As she prepares for her big performance at the American Music Awards this Sunday, teen queen Miley Cyrus was spotted out and about in Studio City, California. The Hannah Montana actress was caught grabbing lunch with a pal at Panera Bread, looking stylish in some jeans and a grey top as they left the restaurant.

Miley is also preparing to celebrate her big 18th birthday which is coming up next Tuesday November 23rd!
